The menu is very much centered around Soba and udon. I think you can just substitute either noodle in any of their noodle dishes. They do it well though when eating soba I always wish I could be served a little more. Maybe it's just that cold food seems less filling.

The Clear Ramen tastes like beef broth, which I'm not sure if it should, and the Soy I've heard is quite salty. The gyoza were so so. If you want noodles though nothing hits the spot like some ramen.

I have been having the blueberry muffins every morning for the past month here. The guy who works there just hands me one when I get there at this point. They are good and in the morning they come warm. I don't recommend the breakfast sandwiches. It's micrwaved eggs. The coffee is half decent. The sandwiches are on the pricey side but the "baguette" bread really makes the sandwich. I say "baguette" because there have been few cities where I've had a real one. Anyone know of a place in boston where you can get real baguette?

I was buying a tent and they let me pitch some tents so I could sit in them and look at them. The staff give you their honest opinions about products so I got the feeling they were talking from experience when I asked for help about things. These outdoor co-op stores always seem to have almost a cult-ish sense to them though. So much equipment you can buy that you never even knew you needed.

Great architecture section, which is mostly what I spend my time looking at. From the more coffee table books to journals and most of the newly published architecture books will be there. It's a comprhensive bookstore though so I'm sure all the other sections are great also. Lots of magazines though I wish they had a more international selection. It is so packed with tourists that you'll have to run for any chairs and won't really find a quiet spot for reading.

Very pricey and hard core cocktails that are extremely tempting because the decor and staff seem quite extravagant. Bring your feather boa and diamonds. We all know the place is all for show but might as well dress up and enjoy it anyway.

I've tried two different hot sandwiches here and they have both been good. One was with roast beef, cheese, mushrooms, and spinach, and one was with prosciutto, mozzarella, and basil i think. Sandwiches served on long, flat, and flaky rolls. Tasty bread. the A/C can be a bit week in there on hot days. They're open late and they have booths to sit in.
