Book trader has some great outside seating where it's nice to sit, sip on some coffee and read. I usually go there when I'm looking for a coffee house atmosphere, and I've never actually shopped for books while I've been there, but I've met friends for coffee (which isn't great) or enjoyed one of the eclectic sandwiches offered in the cafe. Overall it's just another option for a coffee place in New Haven, and one that isn't a place just to be see like Koffee2.
