This is a great bar located in a prime location in federal hill. This bar has 2 floors as well as a somewhat private area for parties. Drinks can be somewhat expensive but the atmosphere is worth it on a Friday or Saturday night. Plenty of good looking girls to meet. In addition they have 4 huge plasma tvs to watch sports on.

They have ton of used cds which are very fairly priced. They also buy your used cds and dvds which they resell in all of their stores.

This is probably one of Baltimoreโs oldest concert venues. They have not renovated it in quite some time so most of the events that take place here really arenโt that good. Definitely do not plan on seeing a concert here because the acoustics are just terrible. When Disney on Ice comes to town definitely check it out, but thatโs about it.

The venue is really fun to go to. The entire venue is outdoors and half the seating is under a roof while the other half is general admission lawn seating. Since it is such a small venue and nestled in between a forest, it doesnโt really matter where your seats are. This venue gets some of the hottest bands during the summer and they put on great shows.

This is a cool place to see local bands play at. Occassionaly they will get somewhat popular / national bands to play there. Drinks are fairly cheap and the tickets are usually under 20 bucks. The ventilation is pretty bad during concerts which means if you donโt like the smell of smoke you may not have a good time. Other than that the place is pretty cool. The acoustics are great which really makes for a good concert.

If you are a college student this is a fun place to go. It's located right in powerplant live next to a bunch of other bars so even if you don't like this one you can visit the others right afterwards. Lucille's has a large outside patio area which is where most people hang out when the weather is nice out. Tuesday nights is the best night to go because they have great drink specials and its packed with people.

If you are looking for non-hollywood (independent) films to see this is the right place to be. It's located right off of 83 expressway downtown near plenty of local places to eat at before or after the movie. The theater itself is very contemporary looking and one of very few indepndent film theaters that I have been to which have stadium seating. Each theater is fairly small which means every seat in the house is a good one. The popcorn here is also incredible!

If you are tired of the big corporate banks then this is the perfect bank for you. They have about 20 locations in the Baltimore area. I've never had to wait in line when going to make a transaction and almost all the locations have 2-3 drive thru lanes. In addition, they do not charge any fees for checking accounts or using an ATM card. Check to make sure they ahve locations near you as it isn't like Bank of America, on every street corner.

This place is located in a great location if you work at the courhouse downtown (which I do). They have a menu of about 30 different rolled sandwiches which are cooked fresh when you order them. Half of them are cold and half are hot. The one problem is that the hot sandwiches take a bout 10 minutes to cook. Definitely try and get a cold sandwich if you are in a rush.

This rock climbing gym is a ton of fun whether you climb regularly or not. If you are a regular climber, they have some of the best indoor climbing on the east coast. In addition, they have a great bouldering cave in the back. For first timers, they have classes you can take which are very inexpensive if you want to get into the sport. You can also have parties there which require no experience at all. The sport is a bit pricey to start off but they do offer monthly and yearly memberships.
