I stopped by Mr Greek when I didn't want to valet for a more sit-down type of place, and wasn't disappointed. The menu is varied with the usual Greek fare, but also has great deals for hot dogs, burgers, and plenty of other fried goodness.
The staff is friendly and the place seems to always be going, but never overcrowded.

I've passed Moonshine many times, but never had a chance to go till now. Their brunch is good, a variety of the usual and some offbeat selections like chorizo and eggs with beans and rice. There's also a selection of burgers on their brunch menu, which runs till 3pm on weekends. And the place was busy at noon on a Sat but not overwhelming, which is welcome when everyone wants to have brunch at the same time!
The service was sometimes slow but overall pretty responsive. The decor was warm and comfortable, overall a great decor. I'll certainly go back to check out the rest of their menu and their bloody mary bar!
And though this place gets its share of trendy folk, it's still comfortable and unassuming.

I went to Hot House for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised! Parking was easy, entry was fast [maybe owing to the new year's holiday soon] and overall, it was great.
Thursday was samba night with free lessons and not soon after they start playing the dance floor fills up. There was a two-drink minimum and drinks were strong, but with Edilson Lima dancing with his female partner and leading the dancing, it's definitely not boring and it's practically non-stop. We hated to leave at 2am!
The only minus was that we bought tickets online and ladies were suddenly free to get in when we got there, with no refunds.

i've not been to a salvation army in ages, but this one [along with the one on ashland] has an amazing selection of just about anything you can imagine. of course there are tons of clothes for women, men and kids, but you'll also find everything from furniture to xmas ornaments and books. their brick a brack area is usually in disarray, but if you have the patience to search through the shelves and racks, there are a ton of great finds. they even have new purses and everything from the dollar spot at target if you missed something.

Due's is a Chicago must, but it's worth the [sometimes 2-hour] wait. I suggest going on an off night [mon-thur] and you'll have no wait and the same great food.

If you visit often enough the staff gets to know you and the service is always great.

I visited here for the first time last night, and was surprised and impressed by its comfortable, nice surroundings [I expected it to be mostly bar!] including the great fireplace. The food is great, I do recommend the southport chicken as well as the ribeye steak. Staff is friendly but not overbearing and there were people there dining or drinking but it felt homey and not crowded. I'll definitely be back.

I've been going to Dr. Klein for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. They've been consistently friendly and helpful through many pairs of glasses and contacts, as well as when a small makeup particle was stuck in my eye and had to be removed. The prices are fair and you will have to wait at least a few days for your contacts or glasses to be delivered, but they usually give a fresh new pair of contacts before you leave the store.

I've been here twice in the last month and I'm constantly amazed by the fact that I thought it'd be a TGI Friday's type place, and it's not even close. Food is better, has variety [the shrooms are fantastic] and nightly specials make it easy to a pitcher of flavored long island ice tea for only $3.50. Yes, it's pricier than your usual fare, but it's certainly worth it. Their mini dessert menu is also great since you'll likely be stuffed, but a small dessert is just what's needed.
