For one of the best burgers in the Twin Cities check out this tiny little place located in Elliot Park near HCMC hospital. The burgers are incredible, if you like them cheap and greasy. They are full of flavor and are made quickly while you wait. These surpass fast-food chain restaurants by far. You can order them as a basket with fries or solo with nothing but a great little burger.

The high school crew that works there can be trusted to make a great pizza or sandwich or chicken basket. I wouldn't suggest dining in because the location isn't exactly ideal, but delivery or pick-up are both offered. Check local newspapers for deals and specials.

Peters Grill offers traditional American cuisine (burgers, patty melts, fries, etc.). Located in the heart of downtown off of 8th street, Peter's is usually visited by businessmen/women during their lunchbreaks, thus it can be pretty busy from 11-1 during the workday. The wait is worth it if you simply want a good fairly cheap meal. This no-frills restaurant delivers great food in a nice cozy atmosphere. Check out the daily specials for an even better deal.

The prices are great (i'm not sure why they are so low) and you may even find special sales around the beginning of August. The location is downtown minneapolis and parking can be found nearby.

This is a no frills place to get some serious lifting done. While they do have an adequate selection of cardio machines, I would not suggest going here if your sole purpose is cardio. Los Campeones has a wide selection of free weights with the necessary benches, bars, etcs. The gym has "normal" gym clientele who are generally focused and into their workouts. The place is just off of Franklin ave. in Minneapolis. The prices are great, especially if you sign up for a longer period of time.
