13 Coins by the airport is not a bad place to go late at night before or after a flight if you are dining at the seatac location. There is also another location in Seattle by Denny Way. It is open twenty four hours and has very accommodating service. I think the restaurant needs to be redone though because the carpet is threadbare and many of the seats are starting to look worn. Overall though this is a cozy place to enjoy a sit down meal. The food served here is American style food-heavy on the steaks. A meal for one will cost around 15 to 30 dollars. While the food tastes okay it is not worth going out of your way for but fills a need for twenty four joints in a city almost devoid of late night dining options.

Dave's Kitchen is beloved by many in Evanston. Besides its homey atmosphere its hearty but well executed Italian food is the main reason people keep on returning to Dave's. The veal marsala and baked lasagna are the stars of the menu. They also have a reasonable wine list with bottle costing on average fifteen dollars. Dinner for one without a drink averages around fifteen dollars.

J Crew is experiencing a renaissance as a business. Many of it clothes are now made in Italy. While this has driven the price up somewhat the quality of the fabric and the cut has improved dramatically. Service is unobtrusive here, almost too withdrawn at times. Many of the stores only carry a limited selection of what is available in the catalog and on line but J Crew is happy to order something for you that you can try on at the store. J Crew sells both men and womens clothing with an emphasis on east coast preppy. This is a great place to come for the basics or for travel clothes. Sales take place all year round and are often worth the wait.

For a pan asian restaurant the food tastes okay. The attentive staff and soothing atmosphere makes this a good place for a business lunch. Price for one person is around ten dollars for lunch

Burgermaster has very tasty grilled cheese sandwiches and decent, fresh burgers. The problem with Burgermaster is that they try to master too much. Everything is available here and not all of it is good. I would skip the spaghetti for instance. Breakfast is also served and is quite tasty. The fresh ingredients in the pancakes really make breakfast worth the wait. Shakes here are very thick and almost as good as Dick's. Burger and a shake for dinner is less than ten dollars and customer service is always very courteous and friendly.

Starbucks coffee was my favorite place to go in junior high. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. One change is that all Starbucks now use automatic machines for espresso shots instead of pulling their own. This is a big mistake. Now their coffee is just consistently off. It used to be that you could run across a good barista now and then and get a great cup of coffee but now that is impossible. Anyway, the Starbucks corporation continues to rip off other coffee house drinks such as the valenica mocha which really tasted much better at the Last Exit. I salute you Starbucks for pure nerve. Service is always with a slightly brainwashed smile and a latte costs around 2.75.

Pu pu hot pot offers Chinese food that contains just the right amount of spices and grease. The cuisine focuses on delivering the flavors of Sichuan and northern China right to your mouth. The very large menu contains all the usual favorites and a long list of soups, meats, and vegetarian dishes. There is an item on the vegetarian menu I used to love eating in China (shredded potato) that I have never seen on a menu in America. All the dishes are very reasonably priced and there is a very cheap (6.95) combo platter special. After nine at night during the week prices drop to under six a dish for some items on the menu. Try Pu Pu Hot Pot and you will never eat Chinese anywhere else in Cambridge again.

I love this bar. Yes the drinks are overpriced but the inside makes one feel like they are imbibing inside a well decorated, cozy, cave. During the summer there is outdoor seating as well. This bar continuously wins awards for its overall ambiance. A light menu is offered and contains such treats as pressed duck sandwiches and grilled flat bread fig pizza. As for the drinks, a very extensive list offers up such specials as the Dirty Harry and the champagne cocktail.

This establishment has strange hours-I really think they would do well to stay open later. It is predominately a student hang out. Prices are around five dollars for a basic crepe. It is a very small place so be prepared to take it with you.

The cornbread crusted french toast tastes better than almost anything I have ever eaten. Dinner focuses heavily on shellfish, though there is a barbecue section on the menu. Service here is efficient and friendly. Brunch costs around twelve dollars a person while dinner is double that amount.
