Cupcake Royale, with locations in Ballard and Madrona is a great place to pick up a treat for friends or colleagues. The cupcakes are tasty with just the right amount of frosty to cake ratio. While some cupcakes are always available, there are seasonal cupcakes that rotate on and off the menu year round. Extra small cupcakes are also available and decent coffee is served on the premises. Prices are a little high in my opinion but better than the two fifty you would pay for the stale pastry at the Starbucks down the street.
