I;d say this is pretty much your typical buffet. Plenty of chinese food and chicken, an ice cream machine, unlimited refills on soda, all the usual. The one thing that I did like, and I think I have the right place here, is that they had fresh meats in the back. When I say fresh meat, I mean they had a giant leg of ham in the back with a guy there cutting it up for whoever wanted some. Certainly not something I've seen at most places.

I must say that the selection here is pretty good, and the shop certainly is well kept. Everything seems over priced though, but I guess that's the case with every place...maybe I just don't value sports that highly. So, compared to other p[laces I've been too, this is about average price wise. They have plenty of shirts from the NY and Boston teams, and plenty of autographed stuff to boot. Ted Williams and Joe D balls and bats down to Luis Sojo balls, it's all there.

I never really liked this place...it always seemed so....rundown. The arcade games are, for the most part, a decade or more old, the laser tag seems rather beat up, the roller skates stink, literally. I mean, they have a few decent games, like the air hockey, but for the most part everything stinks. While it's probably one of the only arcades around, I really would recommend it.

Though Zoo Leonard's is sometimes more fitting a title, there's a reason so many people go there. The store is just a great place to shop. Naturally, they have everything under the rainbow. I especially like their cheese cakes, cookies, and hot foods though. They're almost always freshly made that day....though I suppose that has more to do with the amount of traffic they have there than anything else. Still, fresh is fresh. Oh, and of course the service. Everyone seems alive, not a mindless drone...If you go here, don't expect to spend much under $100, though. The place is just too big.

I don't go there too often, but when I do it's a lot better than going to Staples or Office Max. It's nice and small, and they everything you need. Sure, you might pay a little bit of a premium compared to the chain stores, but like I said they always seem to have everything is stock and they have a lot of little things that the larger stores don't. That, and the people running the place don't seem like a bunch of drones.

Though I guess I love any kind of maple candy or syrup, I love getting maple candy and maple syrup from here...it just seems better than the stuff you buy in Shaw's or the A&P. Anyway, the rest of the stuff there, the plants and flowers, all seems pretty good, too. I don't know too much about either, but I've bought flowers there a few times for my grandmother and mother and they both seemed to like them. Anyway, it's a nice little store they have there, and the service is certainly better than what you'll get at Home Depot.

This is a pretty decent place to eat...nice and quiet, good service, good food. I've gone there once are twice and I really must say it was good. The only gripe I have about the place, and it's a rather large gripe, are the prices. You can expect to play $15-20 a plate on food, which is about average, but the drinks are what's obscene...$3.00 a cup for soda, and they charge you for each refill. Wine, beer, actual drinks? Forget it...they'll run you a good $8 to $10 a piece. You just might end up paying close to what you spend on food on drinks. Sorry, but that's just crazy. Oh, and like most places they charge you if you're going to bring a cake or whatever for someone's birthday. Last I checked it was something like $5 a slice of YOUR OWN CAKE.

Keeping with pretty much every other store on LBI, the place really isn't all the great, and selection can be somewhat limited as well as more expensive than back home. Anyway, compared to most other places on the island this one isn't all that terribly bad with the rpices, though they are higher than off island. If you cared to spend the time, you'd be better off going off island to Walmart or Kmart and getting a a bunch of DVD's, or better yet just brining your own. 2 day rentals just don't do it for me...

This pizza stinks, plain and simple. I'm used to the good stuff, the NY pizza, but even compared to other places on the island, like Joey's, this place is bad. The cheese and sause are both pretty bland, the crust usually isn't all that crunchy, the slices themselves are really thin, and the rest of the food is both limited and horrible.
