Not so great place to stay

This is a crappy motel in Redding California. The rooms all have a solid cement wall that is cold, slimy and contains mildew. The manager is a large disgusting man who does not speak well and could not give directions on how to get to Shasta Lake. How do you have a motel called Shasta Lodge and not know how to get to Shasta Lake?
