This is a very friendly neighborhood bar. They have good prices on their drinks. The menu is pretty standard bar food, but it also is inexpensive. The two highlights for me are the outdoor patio and the friendly service. The staff always seems to be willing to do whatever they can to help. The patio is great because, well, it's a patio: it’s outside, one part covered, one part not. They have plenty of TVs if you want to watch the big game. They have their own parking lot, and Morgan Spurlock worked here for his TV show ’30 Days’.

From what I hear, Dragonfly was transformed from a vegan/hippie coffee shop to it’s current form of vegan/hippie restaurant. The food is great, I’m not vegan or vegetarian by any means, but still loved everything I tried. Lots of flavor and good presentation. My only complaint is that the menu is a little small, with few choices. It’s all good, there just isn’t much to choose from. Reservations recommended as I saw it go from all the way empty to all the way full in less than an hour. Also has a nice canoe on the ceiling

Betty’s is my favorite place to get a meal with my drinks. While the drinks are not really better than a dozen other places on High St , the food is what sets this place apart. It is not at all the average “American bar fare” that you find so many places. Definite international influence on the dishes, great flavor, lots of variety. They have a wide selection of beer that I’ve never heard of. It gets crowded at the times you would think it would be crowded, but the staff is very friendly and the décor is fun.

Papalote has some of the best burritos in town. They are different than almost every other burrito place in the neighborhood. They have more focus on healthier/wholesome ingredients. Their salsa is amazing and you can buy it by the jar to take with you. The guys who own it are very nice and the rest of the staff is great. Of course affordable, but I would even say a deal for what you get. They also display local art work and as well have live musicians that play from time to time. If I was in San Francisco for only one day and could only get one burrito, it would be here.

This place has great margaritas, and on top of that, they are inexpensive. It’s only $16 for a pitcher, which is enough for 4 people, plenty for 3, and more than enough for 2. The food is not great, and there are plenty of other Mexican places within a block, so if it's food you're after, this is not the place. It gets crowded and there can be a wait of an hour + on weekends. Another bonus is they have 2 TVs with super satellite, so you can see any game you want there. The staff is very friendly.
