Great sushi, gruff service

Sunday, August 21, 2005
One of the best freshest sushi places in New York if you can handle the slightly gruff and confusing service. It is often best to just go sit at the sushi bar and put yourself and your stomach in the hands of the chef, Yasuda, to give you whatever he thinks is best that day. But don't ask for an explanation of any of the stranger dishes from the waiters. They'll just give you a blank look.
