Perhaps the tastiest burritos, etc. in Boston

Friday, September 16, 2005
This is Salvadoran food, not Mexican. It's spiced differently and has a different texture. And it is freaking excellent. Along with the usual choices, they offer tongue (lengua) and, depending on the day of the week, a delicious soup. The chicken soup is great - fragant and savory. The menu is hard to follow and varies a little depending on which board you look at and the language you read. I recommend the pupusas, which are corn tortilla, pork and cheese, with pickled cabbage and sauce. Yum. Tacos Lupita is on the main drag coming out of Porter Square on the Somerville side, close to the crossover to Beacon Street in Cambridge.
