Hidden away nearby busy I-270 and I-44, this nature center offers nearly 3 miles of paved trails within 112 acres of majestic forest. The landscaping here is quite spectacular. Hiking the trails here is a serene experience. When I first visited, I couldn't believe how I've never known about it before even though I drive by it so frequently. Trails are not very long but consist of gentle to moderate slopes. You can get away from it all and feel relaxed just after a short hike. Be sure to check out the nature center while you are there. Highly recommended!
