Antigone's is a small indepentdent bookstore with a good mixture of local authors, best sellers and special interest books (lots of women's studies, gay/lesbian texts, etc). The store is very comfortable to browse in and the staff is helpful but not overbearing. The prices tend to be a bit higher than at a Borders or Barnes and Noble, but not by much.
There is a small kids section and a diverse magazine section. Lots of great journals and cards.
