Good for breakfast or any other time of the day, this little mom and pop cafe serves up fresh hot coffee, cappuccino, espresso, etc cheaper and better than starbucks, and you can grab a bite to eat as well. This little place also serves up a mean wedding cakke or any other baked good you may need for birthdays, weddings, etc... It's not big on ambience but this place is big on service and quality goodies, so stop on by if you get a chance.

I worked with this company for a year, and they are fine if you need payroll services for a company with just a few employees. Unfortunately, I was with a company that had 100+ employees, and all of them getting paid from different divisions. Needless to say it was a difficult task every two weeks, and it was made more difficult as it seemed that this company was best at handling smaller batches of payroll. Don't be afraid to try them if you run a small business, but if you have a complex payrolll system, best go with ADP.

The museum of tolerance is a great educatioonal So Cal desstination. It is separated into two sections, the tolerance museum and the holocaust museumm. The tolerance museum is a bit... well... It's good for children and adolescents. The holocaust exhibit is worth the trip all by itself. Ccheck out the scedule for guest speakers. Upstairs is a huge exhibit with hours and hours of multimedia/video relating to the holocaust.

This is a fun alternative to Grauman's Chinese if you have kids. This Silver Screen movie palace was bought by Disney and now shows only Disney movies. In addition to the movie, the ticket price includes interactive exhibits and shows after the show in a giant complex behind the theatre. I went to see The Haunted Mansion there and was very impressed by the shows that came afterward (better than the movie!)

This is a fun place for people who want to learn a little more about the behind the scenes action of the cinema. There are some intriging artifacts/ costumes on display in the main section of the museum, but be sure to take one of the guided tours where you can walk around the original set of star trek, sit at the bar in the orginal full scale Cheers set (including Sam's back office) or walk around Moulder's Office from the X files. The tour alone is worth the price of admission.

This neck of the woods used to be a bit sketchy, but now that it's been Disnified, there's not much to worry about before the sun goes down. This is a place only Hollywood could have churned out with pagoda's art art deco embellishments being vomited out in a way that is nothing short of frenzied. The handprints outside are fun, but to really appreciate the place, shell out the cash for a ticket and see a movie (preferably something actiony -- these movies have the community atmosphere of a baseball game in this sprawling movie palace.

Weird, Campy Creepy Fun for all ages. I don't know exactly what one is supposed to appreciate viewing a wax museum exhibit. I often find people staring at the scenes for several minutes taking it all in as if it were a Twobley painting, but I have fun at these bizarre spectacles. Anyway, if you were to spend a few minutes at every exhibit, you'd be here all day. This place is huge. It might take twenty minutes to walk through at a brisk pace not even looking at anything. Lots of weird fun. The best statues are the ones that don't look anything like the people they're supposed to.
