Check out Red Robin- known for their spicy, bottomless fries (yes you can buy the spice before you leave), huge hamburgers and fruity coktails. The perfect casual place for sports teams, families or quick meals. The prices are reasonable and the service is usually very prompt. Note the restaurant often gets very busy and can have a long wait- especially on weekends. If you sign up online for the mailing list you can also get a coupon for a free entree the week before and after your birthday.

The lobby of the Westin seems endless- leading the several elevators which can be a little confusing. The staff is quite helpful and one will eventually find the right way to their room. The hotel is located right across the street from the bustling Pacific Place center which offers a wide variety of shops, restaurant's and a theater. It is also within walking distance of Westlake Center and Pike's Market.

If you are brave enough to venture into the tiny Queen Anne location, be sure to feed the meter extra coins. I have been in this shop on numerous occasions and frequently find myself amazed at the shockingly slow service. The staff members seem to float along oblivious to patrons in a rush (or illegally parked) and seem perfectly happy to ignore patrons entirely while they finish a conversation.

The owner of this small boutique in Bellevue was extremely helpful and spent a tremendous amount of time with me selecting the perfect dress. She was patient and professional and I was able to try on several dresses in a private dressing room (unlike many other shops I visited). Although the follow up service is not the most efficient, they offered the best price on the dress I chose. They were also polite and allowed me to make last minute changs on the order without any problems. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment.

We recently went to Pignataro to trade in our old VW. We had made several online inquiries and were quoted a trade in price of $7,000 on our Golf. Once we arrived at the dealership we were directly to the sales manager who was condescending and arrogant. The gentleman actually offered $3000 for a car with a blue book of $8500, and proceeded to disparage the employee that quoted us the intial price in front of several co-workers. I would NOT recommend purchasing a car from this facility and will never do business with them again.

The selection at the 1st Ave store is amazing, ranging from specialty invitiations (custom made or DIY) to scrap book supplies, to boxes and gift wrapping supplies. The prices are quite reasonable - in fact they are substantially cheaper than many online stores. The staff is helpful yet allow you to wander the aisles of the warehouse style store in peace. The store is particularly helpful to those planning large events or weddings as it is really one stop shopping for all your projects. There is also a second location in Bellevue but I highly recommend making the trip to Seattle as the selection and prices are much better.
There is also tons of free parking.

try Carnival Cruise lines. The main dining room provides 5 star cuisine three meals a day, with breakfast made to order. Chose from a variety of casual restauarants as well- including 24 hr self serve ice cream and pizzeria. There are a number of activities on board, ranging from golf lessons to spa services to keep everyone entertained while at sea. The service level from the staff is impeccable and we found the entire cruise to be a new level of pampering.

For a beautiful view of Lake Washington, try Bluewater Bistro. A casual chain with locations on Lake Union, Leschi, Belltown and Green Lake. My favorite is the Leschi location tucked away in the marina- which has a relaxed setting and an amzing view. Parking is plentiful and there is a public beach just a few blocks away which has a lifeguard on duty during the summer. The cocktail list is wonderful and the food is good- seafood, burgers etc... Note they are not open on weekdays for lunch.
