For one of the largest selections of plants, flowers and gardening supplies- check out Molbak's in downtown Woodinville. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and eager to assist with all of your needs. The selection is massive and easily categorized under care requirements, to allow easy navigation through the aisles. There are also garden tools and accessories inside the store. I have found them to be slightly more expensive than discount retailers, but the service more than makes up for it!

Right in the middle of finals week at school my computer contracted a horrible virus that would not allow me to access the internet. It also happened to be a few days before Thanksgiving. I took my computer in for repair to a competitor and was assured that they would get to it within 24 hrs. Three days later they still hadn't even taken it off the shelf! I took the computer back and stopped by Beige Universe. The gentleman had my computer up and running two days later- even working into the holiday at no extra charge! He added extra virus protection (again at no extra charge) and made the entire process much less stressful. I would highly recommend visiting this store should you have any computer needs.

The first store I made an appointment with to try on bridal dresses was Cicada- as I am always impressed by the beautiful dresses in their window. I was extremely disappointed to go in and discover the level of service was so poor. Despite having an appointment (and only one other patron in the store) I was virtually ignored and was not offered assistance once. When I didn't find a dress that I loved, I asked how frequently inventory changes. The staff member told me they only change twice a year! All the gowns at the time were very appropriate for a winter wedding with not one softer dress for a summer wedding. Considering the window changes weekly, I find it hard to believe they don't turn styles more frequently than that...

I should have left once I arrived to find the door is locked to patrons! One must ring in and someone will only let you in with an appointment. This is not a high end jewelry store- its a budget wedding dress retailer! Once I went inside I was amazed at the similiarity of the dresses. They were all in the same color (which is not flattering to most skin tones) and despite the fact that I had made an appointment the sales person was flustered and clearly did not have time to see me. Overall a very disappointing experience.

They have a surprisingly large selection of bridemaid dresses from several different designers. The prices are slightly higher than some other bridal shops, but the high level of service you will receive more than makes up for it.

I have been to the Dahlia bakery several times and each time I am disappointed. The first two stops were in the early afternoon and the shelves were bare! The selection was so small I was very surprised. The third time I made it in early enough to get a Pain au Chocolat which looked fantastic with nuts sprinkled on the top. What a waste of calories! The chocolate was not spread evenly but rather clumped together and the croissant was really flavorless.

Kirkland Tire Factory handles all your car repair needs from extensive repairs to regular oil changes. I have taken my vehicle in for the past several years and each time I am impressed with the fast and friendly service. My car recently required an extensive repair which totaled $1500.00. Kirkland Tire Factory beat the dealership price by 50% and had the best rate (by far) of several area repair shops. More importantly I have always found them to be honest and ethical, frequently telling me (in layman's terms) exactly what needs to be done and why. In fact, I once brought in a flat tire and they repaired the flat free of charge and sent me on my way in under 30 minutes. I highly recommend visiting this shop for all your repair and maintenance needs.

The staff at Physician's Eye Clinic is superb- prompt and pleasant and made the entire experience painless. I cancelled my first appointment with no problems and was rescheduled for a much more convenient time. Once I arrived I was immediately seen by a nurse for the testing process and the doctor promptly followed. I appreciated their concern for my time and the efficiency with which they ran the office. I would highly recommend visiting this clinic for all of your eye care needs.

Right in downtown Langley is the Star Store, which offers a variety of clothing and gifts. Each item is very unique and most things can not be found in regular department stores. The products are excellent quality although they tend to be on the expensive side. Overall it is a wonderful place to shop for souvenirs and gifts. There is also a Bistro upstairs which has excellent wines and lighter foods.
