The first store I made an appointment with to try on bridal dresses was Cicada- as I am always impressed by the beautiful dresses in their window. I was extremely disappointed to go in and discover the level of service was so poor. Despite having an appointment (and only one other patron in the store) I was virtually ignored and was not offered assistance once. When I didn't find a dress that I loved, I asked how frequently inventory changes. The staff member told me they only change twice a year! All the gowns at the time were very appropriate for a winter wedding with not one softer dress for a summer wedding. Considering the window changes weekly, I find it hard to believe they don't turn styles more frequently than that...
