Although this restaurant is considered a vegetarian restaurant, there is still a fair amount of choice within the menu. You can order chicken and other alternatives to meat dishes. Rutabegorz is located just outside the Orange Circle, not far from Chapman University. The location is an old house so it has that homestyle feel yet it is decorated quite intimately and comfortably. Try the chicken quesadilla with guacamole, it's delicious.

If you are looking for a place with wonderful danishes, cookies, and cakes, this is the place. Everything is fresh and reasonbly priced. I usually go for the delicious cookies like the thumbprint cookies which are a shortbread cookie with a chocolate drop on top. But this the place to also order all types of cakes for any occassion. They also will fulfill special orders for the danishes and cookies if you call ahead of time. Serve yourself a cup of coffee while you are there, the price is better than coffee shop.

Nestled on the outskirts of the Block of Orange lies the hidden Burke Williams. This is probably a good thing because in some ways it feels as though you truly are getting away from it all for a day of relaxation.
They boast many relaxation wraps and massages but one of the great things to do is to relax in the warm pool. Everything is private and you are given a locker and robe to lounge about in. Drink some nice, soothing lemon water while you are there.

I often go here to meet friends or family for a nice chat to start the day off. There is seating just outside the shop with umbrellas to shade you from the morning sun. You get a great view of the Orange Circle and locals walking their dogs in the vicinity.
It's a wonderful alternative to Starbuck's which is just down the street, but doesn't offer the same kind of atmosphere.
