Wonderful, Welcoming Hometown Church 10/16/2005

I grew up in this church. It is a wonderful place to spend your Sundays! It is a Congregational Church, which, in essence, means that while their theology is conservative, they don't get caught up in the smaller details (i.e. you can Baptize your baby when it is born, or you can be Baptized as an adult, when you are ready - the church does not mandate which is correct, they just encourage you to be baptized at some point!). The church building itself is gorgeous - it is very old and very large. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding, it is a perfect choice, since it is a white country church with a center aisle (and two side aisles as well). The church has a large, beautiful organ as well. I would recommend checking it out if you are looking for a church in the area. The church family is very spiritual and very welcoming. Enjoy! more
