My hubby had a stressful semester in graduate school-- well, all semesters are stressful, but this particularly one was PARTICULARLY stressful. He needed something to relax, so for his birthday I purchased a gift certificate that entitled him to a 1 hour massage-- it was only 30 dollars. What a bargain!
The only weird thing about going to the massage school is that you can't pick your masseuse. This wouldn't be that odd, but you also can't insist on the gender of your masseuse-- you can say you'd prefer one over the other, but you get what you get (though he had his request honored)
He declared the massage a success and felt very nice afterward. The atmosphere at the school is pleasant and calming. When I was purchasing the gift, I noted how clean it was.
