Alesci's is a favorite among my office co-workers, and judging from the lunch line on some days, it's a favorite among a lot of Solon workers.
This is a small-ish Italian grocery, with a deli counter, and best of all, at the back of the store, a prepared foods counter. Pizza, calzone, wedding soup, and the best Italian subs this side of I-422. The prepared foods are all reasonably priced, as are most of the rest of the goods in the store. Great place to purchase a missing Italian ingredient for a recipe, or just to get some good cappacole and mozzarella and a bottle of wine.
Try the Sicilian sub with dressing - for a mere $4.75. The wedding soup is superb and my office lives on the pizza.
