$5.00 breakfast with all the trimmings? Coming right up. I've never been to the Colonial for anything but breakfast, so I won't comment on anything else.
This is your typical, suburban, divey, greasy spoon. The ambiance is lackluster at best, but the breakfasts are worth every cheap penny! Great omelletes, pancakes, etc... Quick, fast service. Breakfast for two with coffee is usually less than $12.00.
My recent favorite is the latkes and corned beef - for a brunch. The Colonial omellete is also a favorite: roasted peppers, havarti and assorted other veges.
