The Treehouse is the old standby for my group of friends, either before we go out to dinner, or just to stop after work for a quick drink. Nice, airy interior with tree stump shaped tables around the bar, and nice back room too. The patio is beautiful and large. The view of the church across the street is lovely, and the outdoor servers are outstanding. If your crowd is big enough, and your server likes you enough, she'll even go down the street to Edison's Nextdoor Deli and pick up your order if you're hungry (they have menus behind the bar if you ask real nice). A nice, cozy place to drink during the winter too. Check out the stoli doli for a cocktail that's guaranteed to be awkward to try and drink gracefully (vodka soaked pineapple ring in more vodka, served in a martini glass). Early in the evenings, it's nice and quiet. Toward the end of the night, it's loud and crowded. Choose your time accordingly. more
