As an advertising freelancer, I often work offsite, ideally at locations that offer free wi-fi. Slice of Heaven is a terrific little gem of a coffee shop in Jamestown, across from Newport, about a hundred yards from Narragansett Bay. The food is a bit overpriced but not every so. SOH is open for lunch and dinner too. There's a great patio outside the front door if al fresco is your thing. Very popular with tourists. Good for the tourists, not for me, but whatever. Highly recommended.
