Bj, as it is more commonly know, is one of the most progressive and well attended synagogues in the country. The rabbis stress full participation by the members in a wide variety of classes, events and social justice projects. Membership is on a sliding scale which insures the diversity of the membership very mixed. Services are held at 2 locations during most of the year. 6PM at their 88th street location or 6:45 PM at their space on 86th and West End Ave. The music and vitality are an incredible way to begin Shabbat.
