Great cheap way to get around town

Northfield Transit is fantastic for a variety of reasons, the main one being that it is free. At least from Carleton I know it is free, I think it is in the realm of dirt cheap for Northfield residents. You just call them up and say when you need to get picked up, and they come get you and take you anywhere in Northfield. It is a boon to us poor college students without cars. The only problem is that their hours are somewhat limited, so it can take some careful planning to make sure that you are done with whatever you were doing and ready to be picked up before they close up for the day.
