Don't know how picks the movies to be shown in this old fashioned Clifton movie theatre but they almost never miss. I am yet to see a really bad movie there. Some, are quite strange, but most either have won prizes or get nominated very shortly after showing. Large % of movies are foreign or independent film, however from the ones shown across the country they manage to pick only the best. Most of the local films I've seen there in the last few years have been nominated for Oscar.

I was recommended this senior recruiter who was supposed to be really experienced and specialized in my industry. My credentials are pretty good, I have experience, education and worked for a very big company. The first thing I was told is that it would extremely hard to find what I am looking for. Not very encouraging... I was able to find a job within weeks myself for much higher salary and a better position than what we discussed.

For those who enjoy Broadway shows this is the place to watch. Every season something different comes to town, although in the last few years I have seen some repeats. The theater is large enough to accommodate a good crowd - performances are almost always sold out, especially on the weekends. Shows are not cheap, but one would expect to pay the price for a true Broadway performance. Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Showboat, Miss Saigon, Chicago... these are just to name a few. Look in the paper for season's schedule.

I was fairly unimpressed with the content of the museum, but I suppose it does have some educational value. Look for special exhibits which are regularly rotating throughout the year here. Sometimes they are quite interesting, although again, because of the small space, there are relatively few items on display.

The museum is free on Saturdays and it's a perfect weekend activity whether with family or just by yourself. My favorite is the room with impressionists, they also have a couple of Picassos and a Madeliani... pretty good for a Mid Western art museum. For kids this could be a very educational trip as well. The museum has a nice little cafe where you could grab a bite to eat and listen to some classical music.

I had a few paintings that neede to be stretched and framed. If you have ever done this before then you know how expensive this can get - you are paying $200+ per painting and that's on the cheap...
I had a few paintings that neede to be stretched and framed. If you have ever done this before then you know how expensive this can get - you are paying $200+ per painting and that's on the cheap side. You would expect that the staff plus equipment will get you something decent. Not really! The paintings were stretched so badly, that I could see wrinkles from far away. Not only that, they argued with me before getting it re-done.

If you have an expensive item that needs dry cleaning, go to Widmers. They will pretty much guarantee that your item won't get lost or damaged in the process. I always go there with leather and suede, and they truly do a great job. In fact, with the leather items they often cover up worn spots making the garmet look like new. Expect to pay a little more however.

I like Springdale cleaners for several reasons - convenience, quality, value. They have locations pretty much all over town, although you do have to be entered into the system at each location separately. The service is fast - drop off your stuff before 9am and get it the same day after 4pm. Finally, I have had service issues only on a few occasions, and that's considering I've been using them for years. They have never lost anything, just a couple of times couple of buttons were melted, which wasn't really a big deal. Overall - great value.

Get it for a party and your guests will really apreciate this deliscious desert. The bakery also caters at weddings, every Saturday morning there is a cake tasting going on for couple ready to tie the knot. It's free of charge and someone is there with a catalog to help make a selection.

Whether you are looking for vegeterian or meat, Wild Oats store offers it, although the space looks relatively small. Staff knows about the herbs and serums which they have a huge variety of - right in the middle. But it doesn't just stop at grocery shopping. You can get a healthy snack at the deli - sandwich, pizza, salad that is made from organic ingredients. The bar offers freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. Yum!
