We happened to be out touring the Pier 39 area with some friends and we thought we would try out the Aquarium of the Bay. We were surprised that we had to ride an elevator to a lower level to get to the aquarium where there was a tunnel made of see-through glass wherein you can see the sealife on the other side. It was disappointly short and at the end was the elevators to take you back up to the upper level to the exit. I don't think I will be going to this aquarium again.

I just love the Palace of the Legion of Honor. Not only are the works of art exhibits within beatiful, but the building itself is also architecturally beautiful. It is also located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Golden Gate bridge. We visit the musuem of a Tuesday because the admission is free on any Tuesday. There is parking available for free also in front of the museum.

The Wax Museum is located near Pier 39. It's hard to miss the building because it looks like an old movie theater. It is really a neat place to see. The wax replicas of famous people were really remarkable and so life like. The only negative is that there is no free parking available unless you park several blocks away from the main shopping area. Also the Medieval Dungeon was too scary for the kids.

We visited the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts one day which was the first Tuedsay of the month because that was their free admission day. There are no free parking available so we had to park at a garage a block away from the musuem. It is a very nice art museum featuring not only canvas or print art but also film and video. It was really crowded though probably because it was a free day.

I always go to the Karaoke Discount Center whenever I want a new karaoke dvd or vcd. They have a large selection and most of my karaoke collection are from this store. Their prices can't be beat either, they are comparatively cheaper than any other place that I've been to. Parking is no problem either since they have a parking lot in front.

I always use the DLS Clean-X-Press Dry Cleaners probably since they are so close to where I live but also because I have always gotten good service from them. My dry cleaning have always been completed on time and they even do rush jobs without any extra charge. The staff are very nice and very helpful. Parking is diffiicult to find sometimes though.

We were looking for a photographer to shoot our wedding and we heard of Jonathan Mandel. After viewing samples of his previous work we quickly understood why it is said that he tells a story with his style of photography. We decided to hire him and we just love our pictures. Our friends and family have given us many compliments after seeing our wedding album. Best of all we just love to look back on that day and his pictures help us remember each special moment.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. Parking is not a problem either and they are not difficult to find. I go there whenever I want to treat myself to something new.

Making Memoies is a great wedding supply store. I found beautiful wedding albums, pens, flower girl baskets, ring pillows, etc. They even sell customized wedding favors. They also rent things like wishing wells where guests can drop gift envelopes in. The staff are also very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to any bride.

Sofia's Flowers is located close to the freeway. It is a small florist shop but with a nice selection of flowers and even small house plants. I've ordered a flower arrangement from them once and I was very satisfied with their customer service. The were prompt with delivery and the flower arrangement was beautiful and fresh. I will definitely buy from them again.
