The best pizza in Santa Monica in my opinion is Wildflour, but for convenience, I hit the Slice.

Solid Mexican food with great chips and salsa. Service has been less than positive for sometimes it takes 45 minutes to get your food.
Upper floor for dining too. Beautiful views of all the people eating fajitas.

The spicy tuna is excellent, but expect food to take a while before you in fact eat. Might be prudent to purchase an appetizer.
Also, you will see a lot of men here who are older than 50 that look like they have taken their "daughters" out for dinner.

El Pollo Loco in my opinion is one of the healthier fast food joints in Southern California.
With the recent edition of their dollar menu, El Pollo Loco has pleasant items like the BRC (stands for Beans Rice and Chesse) as well as Tacos Al Carbon (chicken taco).
In my opinion, good place if you want to spend less than $5 bucks for lunch.

My parents and I have been going to Teddy's for the past six years, and its the best inexpensive breakfast in all of Los Angeles.
The Breakfast special is under $3.50 I believe and it comes with two eggs and pancakes which are delicious.
Teddy also works at the front of the shop every morning.
Wonderful if you can stand all the noise!

This is a typical POSH, LA restaurant, where its not about what you eat, its who you eat with.
Server was friendly, and the people eating at the other tables only LOOKED important.
