Good lord, now a days everyone has stuff from Ikea, but I just cannot believe how chaotic everything is in the Emeryville store. The showfloors look wonderful, of course, but the distribution floor is absolutely insane. So often your product will not be on the bottom and you see it just on the shelf above, but you can't get it and the store doesn't allow workers to get it for you--you have to -come back- the next day to pick it up. For people like myself who travel far to go to Ikea, it's a huge disappointment. Also, you'll never find a worker on the distribution floor, just to let you know.
But the foodcourt is so good and is such a great deal. Overall, the store is really good, its just a jungle to get through.

Tapioca Express is the first place I ever found to make great tapioca drinks. The Stockton division is no exception. The service is great and the people are so nice. The drinks are well made and they have a full selection of mixins with your drinks -- from the normal to baby sized tapioca as well as yummy jelly pieces. They also serve snacks and meals. This place is great for get togethers with friends because of the comfy chairs and couch. It's a very welcoming atmosphere.

I've only gone to the Lollicup in Stockton a handful of times because each time I go the drinks are made badly. By badly I mean completely against what my taste buds want. The drinks are so sweet and the snacks decent, but not that great for the price they're charging. The atmosphere there is great. It's very fun and chill to hang out. So I would completely go there with friends, just not buy anything from the place--I'd suggest getting drinks from the coffeeshop or resturants nearby.

I generally really love going to Togos for meals. Its usually a great place to go for meals and feel just a bit healthier. That was not the way at the Elk Grove Togos. The service was horrible, making me lose my appetite. The guy who made my sandwhich acted like he couldn't hear or something, doing the opposite of everything I asked. What's worse was that he made it seem like it was my fault he didn't listen to what I said when asked what I wanted.

Really, is it so hard to get the bagel and cream cheese made correctly? What about just toasting? How can you then go get a sandwich?
So many people go to Noahs then go to Peets for some coffee, but each time I do it the line for Noah is longer than Peets, even though both as about equally busy. The workers are extremely nice, but are so slow. They seem to need more initial training before being placed to work on busy times. Their line of sandwiches only makes the lines longer it seems, so don't go there thinking you'll be able to grab a sandwich faster here than at Togo's--just go to Togos and be satisfied.

The one in Davis is great, the people are so nice and really make it well. They have this bit with cake tasting too hosted on weekends. I haven't been to that yet, but it sounds so much fun. I really reconmmend going to this place for dates because its fun to get the ice cream and then sit outside and enjoy the sweetness and great conversation.

The Food 4 Less in Riverside is not that big but have like economy sized food and supplies. It sort of reminds me of a Costco, but not in such insane bulk sized portions. They have really good deals though. But it seems to me that the fresh produce section needs some work, some of it didn't really seem that fresh and they are always running out of supplies it seem. Maybe its just too popular being so near the university.

I generally get most of my arts and crafts supplies at Michaels because I hate digging through all of the crap at Wal-Mart, but the one in Vacaville made me wish I had just gone to the Wal-Mart nearby. Not only was it hard to find the supplies that I needed, when I asked or tried looking for help, none was supplied. This place also did not have as many good stuff as my hometown's Michael's store.

Michaels is the best place I've found to get all of your crafts supplies. It can be a bit pricy depending on what you're looking for, but has a really good selection on all departments. They also offer classes and sessions to learn particular crafts. I love it when they have the bin deals because the stuff is cheap but really good and I can do so much with it then.

The Food 4 Less just off of Hammer is really quite large. They have a good selection of foos stuff and at a good deal. It doesn't have as much Asian supplies as I would like, but overall is good. This especially applies to their Chinese food to go section, which is seperate from the primary store. This way people won't block the entrance and exit. My friends and I used to love coming here for a quick lunch during high school since Lincoln High is so close.
