A strong alternative to Jewel

Treasure Island calls itself "America's Most European Supermarket." Although that description might be a bit of a stretch, this grocery store is a worthy alternative to Jewel or Dominicks. You'll find many items that aren't on the shelves of Chicagoland's two biggest grocery chains, and prices are generally comparable to the Jewel down the block. (Some items are more expensive, others are less expensive.)
The one thing to watch out for...after a few too many times where I've stuck my hand into a TI refrigerators or freezer case that feels warmer than it should feel, I'm cautious about buying some perishable items at TI.
