During the weekend nights, the lines usually line up out to the doors. People go there all the time because the ice cream really is pretty damn good. Many people like the Red Bean ice cream, which is a special blend that's not available in most ice cream parlors. I've tried it and must admit it is rather tasty.
They also have a flashy logo of a cute cartoon dragon holding a cup of ice cream. I bought myself one of their store t-shirts because I just adore that dragon so much. They have a flag of the dragon hanging outside in case you're looking for it.

I like this place. It is a large scale buffet restaurant. It is not one of those cheap buffets you would pass on the streets, it has class and a HUGE variety of foods to choose from. You get everything from lobster, to sushi, to ice cream, to steak, chicken, pork, jello, cookies, cakes, and pretty much everything you can think of. The buffet containers are gradually cooked and replaced with new food every so often. (Everyone rushes to the lobsters once they're out.)
The food is very well cooked and I really enjoy eatting there. The only down side is the price of the place. They charge around $25-$30 per person, and I doubt most people eat that much worth of food. But it is still a great treat for yourself nonetheless.

Simply put, this restaurant really sucks. The manager is a friend of my fathers, so he likes to go there a lot for special occasions; but the food is not good. The vegetable dishes are very plain and taste bad. They are suppose to be known for good vegetables, but I hated it. Their prices are too high for the quality of their food. I'd much rather go to McDonalds than go to this place.
I also got an insider tip from a friend that the kitchen is rather dirty. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact, I tell people not to go there every time I pass it with my friends. Stay away.

In my opinion, this restaurant has some of the best noodle dishes around. Everything is cooked to perfection just the way you'd like it. Try the Chicken or Beef Chow Mein, it is absolutely amazing! It's so good you'll wonder why you don't eat it more often.

This restaurant is an oldie. It has been around since as far as I can remember. Nowadays Chinatown has a wide variety of new age restaurants. Most of them with flashy lights and commercial decorative designs. This restaurant has none of that. It is "old school" and the food is as authentic as America Chinese food can be.
This restaurant is probably best known for their roast pork. Many older generation chinese parents would go there for their roast pork. The roast pork dish itself is rather plain--just roast pork, rice, and soy sauce. But the specialty dishes is still as good as any other restaurant around Chinatown.
Order the Pork Fried Rice, it is my all time favorite. You won't be disappointed.

I love this theatre! This is my first perfect rating for anything. I gave it to this theatre because I love going there. They always have all the latest movies and is usually not very crowded. If you attend before 5:00 PM on a weekday, then the prices are at a discounted price.
They also have this program where if you become a member, you can earn movie credits every time you go to the theatres. This applies to all United Artist Theatres, but it really is a great offer. Not only can you earn free movie tickets, popcorn, and soda, but you receive a free small popcorn every Tuesday.

This is an okay pizza place. Pizza places in New York City is available in every other block, so it really takes something special to stand out. Sal's Pizzaria, in my opinion, is not all that special. The pizza is good enough to eat but not good enough to stand out. At times they are cooked very well, but there are also days when the pizza is way too cheesy. But hey, if you're hungry, then don't stop yourself. New York pizza is still new york pizza.

Wok & Roll offers good chinese food in many varieties. This is more of a lunch time place rather than a family gathering. They are mostly a buffet place and not an eat-in waiter type of place. But that does not mean the food is not good. The prices are based on the weight of your dish; but after 3:30 PM the prices are cut in half.
There is a sign that says, "No MSG Added". Although I personally don't believe there is a difference either way, this might ease some people's health thoughts. The food is still rather greasy though. That just makes it taste better, at least according to my taste.

This was the High School I attended; I was in the first ever graduating class from this High School. This school opened in 1997 with an entering class of 100. It is a small school that only accepts 100 students a year. It is based in the same facilities as Baruch College, the classrooms are actually shared with them. The classrooms are for high school students during the day, and college students during the night.
When I first entered this school I hated it. They were really tough on us because we were the first entering class. They did not know what was considered too much work and just wanted to continously push us. The literature is what sets this school apart from the rest, because literature was what they focused on. Students has to read a minimum of 25 books a year and do 20 hours of community service. Due to the small population at this school, each student has an advisor and they keep tabs on the book and community service requirements. This is a good thing because students got a lot more individual attention.
The math and sciences from this school is/was not good. I can honestly say I was not prepared in terms of math and sciences when I entered my Engineering college. But that could just be the fact that I went to an engineering university where the math and sciences are a lot tougher.
In the end, when I graduated, I realized I enjoyed my time at this school. It taught me a lot and I enjoyed the small community this school has to offer. There were no bullies or trouble, the environment was generally very safe. I would recommend ANYONE to come to this high school. I know I said the math and sciences were weak, but that's pretty much the same in most NYC high schools.
A final note, the school has changed a lot since I graduated 4 years ago. Take a tour to see for yourself. Tours are usually offered if requested.

The main dentist for this office is Andrew Maron. There is another dentist working here too, but I cannot recall his name at this moment.
I am very satisfied with choosing this place as my main dentist physician. The dentists there are nice and has a good sense of humor. They accept all insurances, which is great for people who have a lot of expensive dental work. Their motto is, "We cater to cowards", which is what I am when it comes to dental work.
This is a very crowded place though. I always end up waiting 2-3 hours even though I made an appointment. But once it is your turn, the process is fast and painless. The dentist even told me when it might hurt, that's impressive to me because it proves he knows his stuff.
