This is one of the largest thrift stores that I'm aware of in Orlando. This place is the size of a typical general-merchandise store, and their goods are well organized & laid out in different 'departments' just like a 'regular' store.
An entire area is devoted to furniture, there are racks upon racks upon racks of clothing for everyone in the family, kitchen goods & household items galore.
One thing I always have fun with is the 'grab-bag' type bags they put together. You will find lots of these along the tops of the racks - they will have taken a good handful of related small items & bagged them up together in clear plastic bags -- for a dollar or two, you can get a great 'goodie-bag' full of stuff!
Be prepared to spend a good amount of time here, but you won't spend much money because everything is priced so low!

Like most thrift shops, you'll need to hunt around a bit. But you can be sure to find something you like here, they have a small amount of furniture, and tons of other items from books, to toys, to kitchen wares, to office supplies, CD's, and so much more.

There are a LOT of 'thrill-slides' here --- fast steep slides, wild winding slides. Teenagers and young adults are likely to have more fun here than older adults. We enjoyed getting in the wave pool, but we left the really wild slides for the younger braver kids!

We used Falcon for a while, the previous owners of our home had had a termite system installed. Falcon sent a technician out monthly to monitor the termite stations and do treatments as needed.
Some months, the service was excellent. The tech would be careful to inspect every station, and would be sure to let me know exactly where things stood.
Other months, we would get a careless technician who would skip over some of the stations and wouldn't even stop to tell me what the status of things were.
The disparity in quality of service would make us question ever using Falcon's services again in the future.

We purchased our home through Rosemont Realty. As first-time home buyers, the prospect of buying a home was both exciting and scary. Our agent at Rosemont realty was helpful every step of the way, from the initial showing of homes, to assisting us with all the paperwork and red-tape that is involved in purchasing a home, and making the entire process as smooth and comfortable as possible.
She bent over backwards to make everything as convenient for us as possible, and even after we had closed on our home, she stopped by to say 'hello' and to see how we were settling in, and she sent us a personal housewarming gift also. She really helped make our first home-buying experience a thoroughly enjoyable one!

West Oaks Mall is a fun mall to shop. They have a great selection of stores, a nice food court with a lovely carousel for the kids to ride, and the movie theater rounds out the day perfectly.
Among the more interesting features at this mall are it's extra programs. They have a Mall Walkers program, in which you can get together with a group of other like-minded folks for a healthy scheduled walking program at the mall. Also, they have Club Noggin, which is a fun educational program for the little ones (3-6 years old)

The Florida Mall is such a fun mall to shop around at. The variety of stores is great - with almost 300 stores, you can find a little bit of everything here.
And when you get hungry, the food court offers a myriad of choices, from tacos and hamburgers, to oriental foods, desserts & ice cream, all the way up to the Le Jardin restaurant located in the Adams Mark Hotel which is connected to the mall.
The mall is in a great location off of Sand Lake and OBT, convenient from any side of town.

We only recently learned about Momm's Meats and Popp's Produce. The meat market had a wide selection of meats available, and the prices were great! We loaded up our freezer full of all sorts of meat at very little cost, compared to what we normally spend at the grocery store.
The Popp's Produce side of the market was great too. The produce was all very fresh looking, and extremely reasonable in price. Great variety available too.
This is a great place to stock up your kitchen and save a lot of money in the process!

I originally saw Dr. Cooperman for the first time years ago, when an army medical examiner told me he thought I had a problem with my optic nerves. The true problem ended up being detached retinas, which Dr. Cooperman diagnosed, and later performed the needed surgery to repair them. Surgery was flawless and recovery was extremely fast & pain-free.
Many years later, at an annual check-up visit, it was Dr. Cooperman who first detected the formation of cataracts in my one eye and recommended an excellent doctor who could take care of that for me (Dr. Cooperman is strictly a retina specialist)
Dr. Cooperman's "bedside manner" is excellent. He takes his time with his patients and explains things thoroughly - he never rushes or 'talks down to you' like some doctors do.

Stepping Stones aids handicapped and disabled people by providing a variety of mobility devices and equipment at low or no cost. They have a large warehouse with a variety of equipment, that a person may purchase at extremely reasonable cost. We have also heard of occasions where they have made gifts to needy disabled people who were unable to provide for themselves otherwise.
We have purchased a few items from their warehouse, the quality of the items has been great, the prices were wonderful, and the staff there were all very pleasant to deal with.
