Tortugas IS the best pizza in Birmingham. They're the only local place in Birmingham to serve authentic deep Chicago style pizza. Their prices are reasonable for the food you get. All of the ingredients are fresh, and you can definitely tell the difference. Beware, if you are dining in, the place is very small. If it's busy, it's sometimes better to order out. Also, be aware that the deep dish pizzas take 40 minutes to cook. If you dine in, you get a complementary side of bread sticks (none if you order take out). They also serve other pastas and they have an express lunch menu.
