Always noted for fresh ingredients, O'Carr's is located in the heart of Homewood. The chicken salad plate, which is probably their most popular dish, is filled with succulent chicken salad. The reason it's popular though is because of the wide variety of gourmet crackers that comes with the dish and for the fresh and sometime unique (e.g., star fruit, Asian pears) fresh fruit. If you're going for lunch, go early. The place quickly fills up, as it is a cramped place to eat. Be prepared to dine with other people sitting right next to you during the lunch hour. For a better ambiance, try the newly opened O'Carr's in Lee Branch off of Hwy 280.
