Atlanta is Delta's hub and a good/bad airline to be associated with right now. Since they are in major financial trouble, it's a flip of the coin to rather or not they will file bankrupcy and limit they service. I really have no choice to what airline that I'm attached to since my city is so piss poor, it connects primarily only to Atlanta. Everyone has their bad experiences with public service but it's all apart of that package of life.

This place is WILD. It's hard to keep in mind that you are still in Atlanta rather than some huge waterpark in orlando or something. from the minute that we walked in, we knew that we were up for some real fun. If you can add this park into your family vacation with Six Flags over Georgia then you have a mix for some happy camper. Unfortunately, you can't get into both parks from the price of one ticket and they both cost roughly about the same, so you might have to pick. Parking is typical and costs a nominal feel, so get ready to pay.
This place is very well worth the fee though.

True enough, Rapids might be Mississippi's largest waterpark, but what are we comparing,-->TWO. In my opioion, the admission is way too high to simply get wet on a couple of slides here. The only reason that it gets any attention is because there isn't anywhere else to go. For the same price, load up the kids and go to six flags new orleans or liberty land memphis.

Been visiting this park every now and then for the past 15 years and it has grown more and more. Maybe if I lived in atlanta, it would be boring but since I only experience the results of 2-3yrs of additions it seems new to me.
The park now has "superman" the ride, which is a unique positioned ride that has had reviews on the travel channel. Numerous rollercoasters are at this park and shade and cool zones are no problem.
Parking isn't free as usual but you can park at one of the local area hotels and walk over for almost half the price plus the MARTA system will connect you to the park by bus.
Don't get caught up in lines on slow days though. We once waited out a ride for an hour on a slow day just to find that it really wasn't all that great. Everyone just saw a long line and figured that it must be fun. You won't regret this park.

First visited this aquarium as a little kid, then came many years later to experience a great time just like before. There is alot to see at this attraction, especially since it's located nicely on the riverwalk in new orleans. A good tip: if you're planning on also going to the zoo or getting on a riverboat cruise, be sure to buy a packaged deal where you can save a ton of $.
There many breeds on sea cretures here that will enlighten and teach the younger ones all about nature.

I don't know if Pepsi has a tour facility but this one really puts Atlanta on the map like other attractions. The last time I visited this site, it was a great experience from a movies to watching the bottling process to testing. Visit the three story Coca-Cola museum to see where it all began. The tour is self guided. They'll show how Coke is bottled and distributed, vintage Coke commercials, the history of the advertising and even an old soda fountain. You will start out in a room where they have American beverages from a shooting fountain way. Then you can go into the international room where you sample all the products Coca-Cola owns all over the world!

This was the very first amusement park that I ever went to as a young child. It was very thrilling for a 10 year old and I believe it will do the same for anyone who's really not into going to large cities or driving very far away. The park has all of the pros of any amusement park including shows, rollercoasters, and trains.
The price is kind of high for my standards but the good thing about it is that you can pay for ride access or not so if you have a mother or older visitor who doesn't want to ride they don't have to pay full price.

There is alot of history that can be learned from this tour about Elvis' history and his family including some of the living, like Lisa Marie. I think that this is the type of attraction one should go to if they don't have anywhere else to go in Memphis.

This entire area is full of activities that can keep the family and expecially kids busy all day long. Simply pack up a lunch and head to Le Fluer Bluff park. The museum is located inside. The park is packed with grills, running space, playground equipment, and in the summer swimming. The museum is great, it has exihihits every now and then including the current Sue, a dino exhibit. You can even buy a pass that will allow park access, museum, and general parking.

If this is where you're planning on going and taking the family then don't bother to even get in the car. I'm a native Jacksonian, but I'm not about to lie and say that this is the best place since sliced bread. This "historic district" is just that, historic, there is hardly any businesses open on this street except for hourly women friends and funeral homes.
There are plans in effect to build up this part of jackson, but that's at least 5 years down the road. In addition, this is a very very dangerous part of town. Trust me!!!!
