This zoo was world renowned for good reason. The zoo is the best that I have been to, and I can tell you that I have been to a lot of zoos. This place is always so popular no matter what month it is. The new panda additions and birth are the most popular attraction. It is easily accessible from the 5 freeway or 163 freeway. Be sure to wear good shoes and bring a lot of water because it is always warm and it is a big zoo.

This restaurant has great service, great food, and great views of the Pacific Ocean. It overlooks La Jolla Cove, which is one of the more beautiful beaches in California. Their food is pretty expensive and small proportions, but you pretty much go for the atmosphere and view. The wine list is very extensive as well. This is a great place for dates. I guarantee that your date will like it.

There is also italian food, not to mention the great bread and muffins. The blueberry muffins are unbeatable. The dessert is mediocre but everything else is great. The clam chowder and chicken noodle soup are my personal favorite soups.

In-n-Out is the best burger place for its price. Where else can you get a great tasting burger for only $1.75. I kid you not when I say these are the best tasting and most fragrant burgers in town. I think it is only a California thing so they aren't expanding out and diluting their quality. There are a lot of ways to make your burger, which is not mentioned on the menu, so remember to ask your cashier. Enjoy this place!

The food is not bad at all. It is actually pretty darn good. This is a place that is nice to hang out with a group of friends and either watch sports or just hang a have a couple of beers. It is open pretty late as well.

This club is great. Even though the cover charge is usually 20 dollars, it is worth the money. Just preparty beforehand and you won't have to spend any money at the club. The drinks run for about 7-9 dollars each. That is the only drawback to this club. I guess that is the same for all clubs. There are at least 2 different rooms with different music. There are bars in each room. The atmosphere is great and the people that go there are usually pretty good looking.

The Sushi Itto I visited in Hillcrest on Washington Street had a nice atmosphere and good service, but the sushi itself was only decent. I ordered the Caterpillar Roll, the Moon Roll, and 3 other rolls. The price is the usual price for sushi so it is not a rip off or anything. The food simply lacks a little.At least I was full afterward right? The parking lot is very very small (can hold like 8 cars) so try to find parking on side streets.

Do you love ribs like I do? If you do, you have to try out Phil's BBQ in Hillcrest. I have had all the ribs in San Diego, and Phil's is my favorite. The sauce that they use is very similar to Tony Roma's sauce, but yet it tastes so much better. It is very easy to get to either off the 5-freeway or the 163-freeway. They also have many sandwiches on the menu that are great for their price. I suggest you call in your order since there is always a line for the place. It is not the biggest place so you should get there a little early to get a seat.
