A Great Introduction into the Fascinating World of Science

The Exploratorium was one of many museums I frequently visited as a kid, and basically was a wonderful first exposure to the world of science and exploration. I particularly enjoy the optical illusion exhibit, in which a room appearing through its outside window as a flat, level enclosed space in reality has a slanted floor and ceiling. The earthquake exhibit is also noteworthy, as it provides detail on what causes earthquakes and the history behind the two major California quakes. There are also exhibits explaining the science behind each of the five senses. All in all, as fun and as educational an experience then as it is today.
