Big lots has great decorations for your house. You wouldn't expect to find nice things there but there are and at really great prices. I compare their room decorations to those you find at burlington and tj max.
I recently bought a very nice glass vase for fresh flowers for only five bucks. They also have some really great furniture at really good prices. If you haven't been I think you should check it out.

Popeyes chicken is the best chicken restaurant around. Their sides are fabolous. From their green beans with ham and a little spice, their homemade biscuits and their red beans and rice which is the best red beans and rice I have ever had. You can't go wrong if you are looking for a chicken dinner for your family. I have also heard that they deep fry chickens or turkeys for the holidays. I heard that is really good too.

This really is a good restaurant for the price. I really enjoy their lasagna and I don't normally like lasagna very much. I think their all you can eat bread sticks are really good. Actually probably better than the Olive Garden. If you're looking for cheap Italian food I think you can not go wrong here.

Jefferson Commons is a new shopping center built in Newport News on Jefferson Blvd. Its a great place to go shopping or to get something to eat. Some of the businesses located there are Smokey Bones, Silver Diner, Kohls, Pier One. Its always pretty busy and parking near anywhere you want to shop will be pretty hard but its worth it. You will not be disappointed if you visit this shopping center. They have cool and exciting shops here!

This is a new restaurant located inside Patrick Henry mall. The hamburgers are great and large! I ordered a hawaiian hamburger it had a pineapple and teriyaki sauce it was great! My friend turned her nose up to it until she tried a bite! They have all you eat french fries so if you run out they'll bring you more. The only thing I didn't like was our server was no where to be found until the check arrived. If the waitress had been better I would have given this place 5 stars!

If you haven't been to the mall lately I suggest you go! Patrick Henry Mall has done some remodeling and it is absolutely beautiful. They have put a beautiful fireplace in the food court with a seating area. They have also added some new stores like Borders and Dicks Sporting goods just to name a few. They have also added a few restaurants, Red Robin for example. I really didn't think that this mall could ever look so great but it really does. Go and visit you won't be disappointed!

This store is awesome. I have never seen a store let alone a candle store as big as this one! Its like a yankee candle store mall! There are different stores within this store. One of which is a christmas store. Its decorated like christmas time. There is a bridge that goes over some smokey water with two large stuffed reindeer. Then we were walking around it started to snow! They had a snow blowing machine in there. There is also another store where you can make your own candles. Its like a women's toy store! You'll absolutely love it!

Gotti's Grinders is out of this world!!!! I originally went to the one in cheasapeake. They just opened one in the new shopping center on Jefferson ave, Jefferson Commons. I'm surprised that it is never busy in there. It was always busy at the other one. The best sub I have had there is the grilled chicken. The prices are a little much but the subs are huge. If you get a large one you won't be able to eat it in one sitting. You'll have left overs for the next day.

I was on my way to school. I figured I would go through the drive thru it would be easy. Well I waited probably a half an hour for my food. I ordered general tso's chicken it tasted more like sweet and sour. The fried rice was like white rice with soy sauce in it. The only thing that was really good were the egg rolls. I won't ever go here again. They were awful!

This is probably the best buffet in town. I often visit the one in williamsburg because it is much cleaner and not as crowded as the one on Jefferson ave. I like the fact they have steak all the time and its actually really good steak. Cheaper than a steak house but I think probably just as good.
