Beardley Zoo is a great learning experience for people of all ages.
You wouldn't think that Bridgeport CT would have a great zoo, but it does. It has a lot of animals which aren't native to this area and provide a great learning experience for those of us who don't know a lot about them.
It provides a great learning experience for group tours, summer camps and individual visitors. You can tell that the animals are treated nicely and have a large amount of space to move and live in.
The staff is very helpful and know a great deal of information on the animals in their facility.

We had a great time with our rented equipment until the pro's got on the field with their own jazzed up equipment. It became less than an enjoyable experience when we found ourselves overwhelmed by their firepower and experience.
The downside is that they don't have an area for pro's and amateurs.. You all play in one of the fields together. If you are by yourself, you are teamed up with other players. You won't be alone for long. Just try to play with other people of your experience for a better time. It truly wasn't fun when you're playing with professional players who just want to dominate the field.

Liquor Land has been in business for decades and has always brought Hamden a great place to shop for alcoholic beverages.
Liquor Land has all the stuff you'd expect at a liquor store, but is also very big. They have hard to find items and a lot of microbrews which you won't find elsewhere.
Parking is plentiful as they are located inside a business complex, and have their own parking lot.
They are great for special orders and their prices are very competitive. You can easily buy a keg or plan a party with their knowledgable staff.
Their hours are extremely convenient. As with all CT liquor stores, they are closed on Sunday's.

It's not specifically catered to a specific subject (for example, science or nature) but you'll always have something to talk about.
Parking is located nearby and is close to a lot of restaurants for a complete afternoon.

They also sell firearms and have everything from smaller handguns to larger caliber. They also stock a lot of hunting supplies, including hats, caps, jackets, boots, and pants.
If you need a good place to start, this is it. Knowledgable stuff are on hand, but they do get busy from time to time.
Bring your own eye and ear protection -- if you rent it, you'll pay for it!

Wentworth is known for their hot fudge and their flavorful ice cream flavors. They also have K9 Crunch, a dog friendly flavor that you can get to spoil your pooch should you bring them.
It's a small ice cream only shop which has a few tables to sit at, however is mostly a take-out place. They have a gazeebo around the back of the place where you can also sit on some picnic tables.
Their ice cream is terrific, but their prices have soared. Expect to pay almost $7 for a sundae.

They have a lot of state of the art equipment and traditional exercises which will help reduce your down time and get you back to work.
They aren't afraid to take their time, but they don't want to prolong your treatment either. They are located on Prince Street in Downtown New Haven and have their own free-onsite parking at the medical building.
They are popular and often times can be crowded and busy. The staff are very polite and have a great sense of humor.
