The Rib House is one of the better BBQ places to eat in the greater New Haven area. Although comparable to Amber Restaurant in North Haven, the Rib House has many coupons and specials advertised in local papers.
The Rib House has tremendous baby back ribs, or St. Louis ribs. They also have burgers, steaks, and a variety of other dinner options for those who don't want BBQ.
The ambience is relaxed, and the smell is terrific. You can literally smell the great tasting BBQ food from outside and it just invites you in.
The portions are of good size, but not overwhelmingly large. Check the area papers for some coupons on discounted appetizers and dinners, although even at full price, it's worth it.
They also serve an onion "brick" loaf, which is extremely good. Save room for dessert!
