It is easy to get lost in A Southern Season looking at the endless aisles of gourmet foods and treats. I really enjoyed walking up and down the aisles and was inspired to pull out all of my cooking utensils when I got home. There is a seperate coffee section as well as wine, and there are plenty of prepared foods for anyone who doesn't want to tackle cooking on their own. This is a one of a kind store and I highly recommend stopping in- when you have plenty of time to spend!

Living in Chapel Hill, the nice restaurants are few and far between, so this one is overrated for what it offers. It is one of the nicest Italian restaurants in the area, but I was not that impressed with the food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything different than any and every other Italian restaurant I have eaten at. It does have many wine options as well as daily specials. Also, the atmosphere is warm and intimate- and the servers know the menu well. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant.

This is my number one choice for my lunch break. The menu offers everything from home cooked lasagna to personal pizzas and fresh salad and vegetables. The prices are affordable and the atmosphere of the restaurant is truly that of a market. I always enjoy my meal at Fosters Market. And the dessert is always a special treat!

Also, there are 5 within 5 miles of my house- how is that for convenience! The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

Tucked away in a strip mall- this japanese restaurant has surprisingly great sushi. The selection is typical, but the sushi is good. The atmosphere is nothing great and quite stark, but if you are looking for a quick in-and-out restaurant or to-go order- this would be a great option. You can either sit at a table or there is a sushi bar.

If you are looking for a little higher end restaurant with a southern twist to the food- this would be a great choice. The decor is very stark and yet it is comfortable. The menu has some great choices and offers many comfort foods. Service was great and so was the wine! Parking can be an issue, but the food makes it worth it! There is a small bar if you want to grab a drink before you sit to eat.

Any time you are looking to grab a drink on a great afternoon in Chapel Hill- it can't get much better than this patio. Although the service is poor when the crowds get thick- it is a great place to grab a beer and catch a game with a group of friends. There is always a game on the TV and this is a popular spot for any UNC game day!
