Kafein has a pretty nice atmosphere compared to most of the coffee houses in Evanston because it's unique in decor, dark, and somewhere to go if you want to chat. It's also a nice place to hang out and maybe study... if you're a student.
This is probably my first experience getting served at a coffee shop. I'm used to paying at the register and getting my goods right then and there so I can sit down wherever I please. I don't think I like having someone wait on me when I just want black coffee (i guess that might not be too common here considering they have really yummy desserts and specialty drinks). The service isn't that great either...meaning you'll have to wait a bit, so don't come here unless you're bumming around or have the time.
