They also carry some stamping stuff as well as have various classes and learning demonstrations available to customers. This store is great for beginners to the most serious scrapbooker as their selection is so broad. If you are into scrapping at all, this is definitely a place you want to check out.

Rum Runners in Lansing is by far the best bar in the area. They offer something for everyone by having 2 clubs in one. Upstairs they have a dueling piano bar that features some awesome musicians. This is a great alternative for those who want to go have a drink and relax. Downstairs, they offer a live DJ and dance floor. This bar is the best of both worlds and is great for larger group parties as well as just a couple of people who are out on the town.

Mike's Firehouse Grill in Mason is a great family restaraunt. They have a wonderful atmosphere that is great for all ages. They have a wide variety of selections on their menu and everything that I have eaten there has been absolutely delicious. This restaraunt offers a different alternative than your normal family chain restaurants and provides just as good or better meals.

Toms Western Store in Ovid is a very nice tack store. They are very large compared to other tack shops in the area and carry an extensive line of grooming and care products. They seem to cater more to the rodeo and regular horse owner than a specialized showman. They carry products that are good quality but not necessarily the top of the line. All in all, a great tack shop for the average horseman.

Crestview Tack Shop is a great little tack shop located on the south end of the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason. They have recently remodeled and added on to the existing building so they have had the room to increase their inventory. They carry the top brands for both english and western riders. They have a large selection of tack from makers such as Dale Chavez, Circle Y, and Billy Cook to name a few. The only downside is that they do not have a large selection of clothing. Even so, they are a great little tack shop that has all of your last minute tack and grooming needs.

Lakewood Tack & Supplies in East Lansing is a wonderful little tack shop. They have the best brands for both the english and western rider such as Cruel Girl, Hobby Horse, Dale Chavez, and Devonaire. They offer a wide variety of show and work tack, as well as some great casual clothes and gift type items. I have become a frequent visitor to this tack shop as they have a great stock of those last minute items one may need for a show. They have also been really great about special ordering something for me if they dont have it in stock and they can usually get that item in really quick. I definitely give them a two thumbs up!

They have great customer service in both the sales and service departments as well. I have purchased a vehicle from them as well as had repairs done in both the service area and body shop. They offer extended afternoon hours at their drive-thru on Saturdays and their online banking makes transfers and payments a breeze. This is an all-inclusive credit union that is one of the best.
