This was a nice establishment. Courteous and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Long waiting times and mechanic not well versed in exact mechanisms of repair. I would say you may want to try to get estimates at multiple different locations prior to getting your car fixed with them. Try to judge what the repair cost will be by getting multiple estimates before you settle on the body shop.

After going to KLP for the past yr, I've had 3 colorists & have been lied to each time. I wasn't even told that they left until my appt- was given random staff. First 2 times I let it slide. I'll never go back due to the terrible cust svc. The last colorist ruined my hair w/ bright colored stain. At my following "color correction" appt, I was greeted by another new colorist. Still paid full price & they didn't fix my hair. Have staffing issues, but don't lie. Make mistakes, but have the decency to ensure something is done to fix them, whether that colorist is still there or not. Owner has poor mgmt & cust svc skills - will new cust's just keep coming in reglardless of svc? Sorry, not the kind of place I want to give my $. Good luck with this kind of business model!

fresche is a "fresh" salon that is an asset for Atlanta. This salon is a big community supporter in fund raising events for different charities around the city. I always feel like the stylist listen to what I want, and give their expert advise on what would look best on me. They know what the latest styles are, but they also make it suit "my personality". The clientele can range from a local celebrity to the Grant Park neighborhood mom's. I found out about them through friends - I have never seen or heard anyone come out of fresche that didn't love their hair! They always have a fresche approach for my cuts and color and make me feel like I have style!

I have been going to Van Michael for about a year now. I have started to get coloring done as well and have always been impressed with their ability. However, my last trip their it seems that my colorist is getting too busy and I ended up getting stuck with her assistant to do my glossing. The assistant, which I know is licensed, seemed to do a good job until I washed it 24 hours later. The roots and the rest of my hair are two different colors. I don't have a problem using an assistant for washing, etc. but there is no excuse to pay $70.00 for a coloring job and then have two different shades going over your head. I did call and they had me set up to get it fixed with someone else within 72 hours.

Hot Wok!! The Indian version of Chinese food (no, really) Chinese chef from Bombay wips up some mean grub. If you are like me (pale skinner who loves hot food) put this on your list. Awesome for vegetarians, but avoid the beef (serves mostly an Indian crowd). Ginger fish is awesome, Paneer (Indian cheese) Manchurian is awesome. VEG hot & sour soup is right on! Service is good, owner/chef is awesome. Take a little drive and have a good time. I could eat here every day...

Ok, the food is not that bad, that is if you've ran 25 miles to the restaurant and you're ok with ingesting at least 2 to 3 cups of oil. If you can skim off the grease then whats underneath is not bad, spicy too.
I came in, there were seats available, I ordered and no more seats. This place might as well be called "Grease and Styrofoam Spicy House" considering everything, I mean EVERYTHING, is on styrofoam.
The only endearing thing is the Chicken 65, order that and the Butter Chicken, which has only 1 cup of oil on it as opposed to the rest.
After you leave, make sure you ask the line of ambulances parked outside to move so you can get your car out.

The night before Thanksgiving with Atlanta being fairly dead HALO was vividly alive, sophisticated and sexy without an attitude. A very discreet entrance reminiscent of chic Manhattan establishments from clubbier days opens into a cavern of beautifully lit space. Raw concrete posts contrast with a polished alabaster bar that glows from within with a very flattering warm light. The staff offers excellent service, is there when desired and otherwise stays out of the way. The crowd is largely made up of attractive, affable young people a not ashamed of being friendly and visibly enjoining themselves. Drinks were drinks and nothing was overpriced or silly. HALO is a definitely the current highpoint on the Atlanta bar scene. Go for the atmosphere and mix with the crowd.

In a city overrun with Thai restaurants Thai Palate stands out. It's a class act from the minute you enter the contemporary dining room. Chances are one of the owners will greet and seat you and offer you a cocktail if you wish from their full service bar. The sauces are the key to our favorite appetizers, the Thai-style fried shrimp and the roti canai. The chef's special seafood and duck dishes are delicious and tantalizingly seasoned and plated.. as are all the dishes we've enjoyed. Thai Palate will spoil you.. it will be the standard by which you measure other Thai restaurants.
