While attempting to purchase a skateboard for my younger brother, I encountered a bunch of ego, and very little knowledge. There was a young guy assisting me, and he treated me like I knew nothing (not in a helpful way, but in a know-it -all way). I am 33 and have been skating when this kid was in diapers. Muir street is in the tweaker part of Ocean beach (near the old Dago Choppers location that was burned down by an arson). I recommend going to a reputable store like Hamels verses trying to help out a small business (unless they treat you like a person).
