Pearl is an arts and craft shop located on route one right opposite of Woodbridge Mall. When you first walk in, it doesn’t seem like much with only a small shop, but as soon as you notice the staircase leading down, the place becomes an absolute treasure chest of arts and craft supplies. If you’re someone like me who loves any sort of arts, this is like your heaven. It has absolutely everything from oils to yarn to flower arrangements to frames and matting. They often have sales too, which makes the low prices even lower. It’s easily affordable and great for the amateur artist, but it also provides professional artists with their wishes too.

This place is absolutey wonderful along mainstreet Highland Park. The smell that waft out of it are mouth watering each day, and as soon as you walk in, it's all cozy and friendly with display after display of baked goods. The food, of course, tastes absolutely delicious. I once ordered a cake from there for a friend's birthday, and it turned out awesome. It might not look like much on the outside, but it's amazing on the inside.

Quiznos is also newly opened in Highland Park, and it’s a great place to have lunch. Their subs are both appealing to the eye as well as the taste buds. Although it’s a bit more expensive than other sandwich subs, the quality of the food makes up for it. It’s located a bit outside of downtown Highland Park, but not too far out. The shop itself is a bit small, and I always prefer wide spaces. That’s why I usually pick up lunch then take it with me. Even if you decide to eat inside, however, it’s still a great place.

Baskin Robbins is connected to the newly located Dunkin Donuts in Highland Park. They provide great ice cream as well, at pretty much the same price as Carvel, but what’s good about Baskin Robbins is that there are plenty of tables and small corners that you can just sit at and enjoy your ice cream. And since it’s also connected to Dunkin Donuts, for those of your friends who don’t like ice cream, they can order a coffee or a bagel and also have something to eat. The atmosphere is great with nice bright lighting. Although it’s a bit far from downtown Highland Park, it’s still a great place to stop by with the car.

Carvel has opened up in a lot of places including Highland Park, but I stopped by this particular one. The ice cream is delicious, and definitely cheaper than most ice cream stores. The atmosphere is cheery, and the inside is beautifully clean and decorated. It’s staffed by a lot of helpful people that are friendly and smiling. It’s a wonderful hangout place, with tons of sweet smells coming out from all around. All in all, it's a great place to go visit.

Charlie Brown’s is a great restaurant to go through both as a family or for a date. They have an amazing salad bar when you order a main entry, and the service is absolutely wonderful. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and they’re always able to solve your problems. They’re also efficient, and the food takes only a short while to prepare even on the busiest of nights. I went there with a friend for her birthday party, and they even sang happy birthday to her. It has a great atmosphere which just lights up the evening. It’s definitely a great place to dine and just generally relax.

This place focuses mainly on different packages of cruises around the world. They go to Canada, the Mediterranean, the Carribeans, Asia, Hawaii, Alaska, and all sorts of exotic places. The prices are very cheap for all ages starting at a few hundred bucks for each person. Their routes are extremely safe and have been travelled for numerous years without any accidents. You can also book air tickets to different places as well. My friend always comes here for her travel tickets and plans, and she's always satisfied. Definitely worth checking out!

I went to one of their SAT mock tests, and at the same time got some information on their prep school a few years back. They offer tutoring in SAT i and II, PSAT, reading comprehension, vocab, grammar, writing, pre algebra, algebra, geometry, essay writing, and regular homework help. Their classes are small and efficient, and students really learn to apply basic thinking and concepts to their work rather than try to memorize examples of ways to solve problems. It's a great prep school to go to, and it's definitely worth checking out!

Ever since I was little, I've had her for a pediatrician. She's so kind and nice, and she never questions why you got an illness - she just makes you feel better. Her clinic is extremely clean and well maintained. I don't think a mistake has ever been made before. She's extremely professional but she loses the cold touch whenver she's around kids, and children absolutely love her. She's skilled in general practice, and is definitely worthy of consideration when looking for a pediatrician for your child.

This one wasn't the best but wasn't the worst of the barber shops I've been to. It's pretty good that it offers 40% off for perms, and it's only 45$ for senior citizens who want a perm. Usually they have coupons in Chinese newspapers that give you haircuts for around eleven dollars for men and fourteen dollars for ladies. A very good bargain! I only cut my hair here once, but I was pretty satisified with the outcome. It was a normal straight cut.
