When ever I need to get to the airport, I would make a reservation for Cloud 9 Shuttle. It is very convenient even if we need to make trips to other places to pick up passengers. It is not to expensive either so I would recommend taking this rather than taking a taxi which could get very pricey. Service is also phenominal, I've never had a problem with the driver. However, there is one time (out of many times) when the driver arrived late. But other than that, I would reommend Cloud 9.

I don't know if it was just the cab driver who drove me that one time, but I sure didn't have a good experience with Yellow Cab. At first I chose this because I found a coupon for $10 off. So I called them to reserve a cab, making sure that I could use this coupon. However, at the end of the trip, the driver would not accept the coupon and made me pay full price. That drive was rude, careless (we almost got into an accident!) and his car smelled to. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to get a better driver, but otherwise I suggest you find another cab service.

Best of the Bay is not really the best of the bay, but it's not bad either. They get the job done and price is reasonable. I believe this place has Chinese owners so many of their customers are also Chinese. It is a good place to go for those who are not fluent in English and prefer to have someone who can take care of your car problem and be able to help you understand what's going on.

They even have toys, stationaries and Japanese snacks most under $2. I like going there just to see if there is anything interesting to get.

There are so many designs , stickers and other decorations that I will always be able to find something I like. If you like to scrapbook, you should definitely go take a look at this place. But just to warn you, you can easily spend a lot of money buying all the supplies there.

However, if you do live nearby, this is a good place to by dry goods, cooking sauce and other non perishables there.

Sunrise Video is located in Marina Plaza. This is actually a video rental store rather than a store that sells videos. They have the newest movies and tv dramas from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. It's not too expensive, maybe $2 per rental if you buy their package of 50 rentals. It's definitely not hard to use 50 rentals especially if you plan on watching the tv dramas. The store also has little Sanrio gift items and stationary on the side.

Meng Trading Co. is located in Chinatown, I prefer this store over other Asian movie/music store because they have a lot to choose from. They are also very updated with the newest movies and CDs from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea. Price is not so bad considering that they are selling authentic copies instead of bootleg ones like some other stores. I would suggest going here if you want to buy some Asian CDs.
