Located right off mission gorge/Fairmont, Body Beautiful is part of the Exxon station. For the $10-$14 range you can expect vacuumed interior, full wash and hand dry. They offer wash option that is under $10 but no vacuum. In the $20 range you can expect full interior vacuum, windows cleaned tire and wheel bright and a wax sealant and air freshener. There is also full service detailing that runs in the $100 range. I tend to go for the wash that just under $20, only take 10 minutes on a busy day and if you are unhappy with the wash they will run it through again. Hold on to your receipt, it includes your rain check and a discount on your next wash. If you are really a fanatic the offer yearly passes.

Viejas is located in Alpine about 20-25 minutes from downtown San Diego. They offer outlet mall shopping, live entertainment and every type of gaming legal in California. Compared to other casino buffet in the area I feel Viejas trumps them all. Always a fresh, quality selection. Getting to Viejas is much easier than other casino in the area, simple shot right out 8 east and follow the signs. Last time we went out we picked up some fresh fruit and avocado on the road side for practically nothing. Highly recommended if you’ve never been.

At Kobe’s you will find everything from fresh fruit to used tires. There is a section dedicated to sellers who show up week after week and carry the same items. You can get anything from a custom dash board cover or any flavor incense you can imagine. Good deals on shoes and t-shirts are always around. Since these sellers are there week after week, once you find a deal you can depend on them being in the same spot. In the other section you will find sellers who are cleaning out there garage, collectors will get there early so to get a real gem get there when it opens. Admission is $1 food, snacks and drinks are sold throughout the venue.

Located in the heart of Normal Heights Rosie's has to be the best watering hole in the area. Within two blocks there are at least 6 bars, but this is the one you want to be at. You will always be able to get yourself a Guinness or your favorite Irish whiskey; however, there is a very nice selection of Tequila and local brew. You will find Karaoke on some of the week nights and live bands on the weekends. Watch out on the weekends, it gets crowed, never the less great fun and great atmosphere.

You will see people catch any thing from Mackerel to shark. I have even caught an octopus off this pier. Even if the bait shop is closed, there is always someone who will be willing to share some bait with you. If you have a fishing pole and a few free hours. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of downtown and North Island.

Aside from the willingness to honor any coupon there are many great reasons to shop this location. The staff is super friendly always willing to assist, may it be carrying out your groceries or getting assistance in finding an item. There is a decent selection of fresh fish, meats, fruits and vegetables. If you need vitamins this is your place, they have an entire isle for you. There is a deli that serves fresh meats and cheeses, a bakery and during the day a fresh salad bar.

There is much to do in the Mission Trails Regional Park. This park actually stretches from Lake Murray in La Mesa into Santee. Mission Trails has just as much fun stuff to do and explore as Balboa Park, and Mission Bay Park. There is fishing on the weekends at Lake Murray, where you can also rent a kayak, paddle boat or just take a walk around the 3 mile road surrounding the lake. Mission Trails Regional Park is one of the largest urban parks in the US. There are tours offered from the very nice up to date visitor and meeting center. To the east you will find the old padre dam with many hiking trails leading you into the hills. This land that was once used by the Kumeyaay is open for camping where you can set up tent for the night park an RV.

You’re not going to get back to the shop to pick up your car and find out the bill is hiked up. With all the anxiety of having you automobile fixed and not getting ripped off, it is nice to know there are quality establishments like Qualtech. The last time I went into Qualtech and gave them my laundry list of request I joked at how would pay for car wash if they offered...guess what, to my surprise when I arrived to pick up my car they washed it for free! This is a great group of guys and women who provide quality honest work.
